My roommate is filing for chapter 7 bankruptcy and I want to know if his creditors can show up?
What should I expect? I’m home during the day and work at night. If someone shows up to go through my friend’s possessions, do I have to let them in? Can they attempt to go through my belongings too?He recently filed, and I don’t want to have to move out, but I don’t feel like having to deal with all of this when it doesn’t involve me. (Can you blame me?)Oh, and we’re in the US.
