My husband and I plan on filing in January. I’ve heard stories that if we expect a refund next year, it will be held and distributed to my creditors. Is this true, or any personal experiences?

    Only if your trustee told you he wants to see them and check your laws, but in Oregon you get to keep the first $600. If your last refund was over $1000.00 the trustee will probably ask for it. But like I said you get $600 of it

    no I just finished mine friday. but make sure you double check with your lawyer.oh I do live in mo too
